Tomas Reyes, Owner
Tomas started CleanRun in San Antonio in 2013 after six years as a commercial HVAC installer, mostly on medical and school contracts where a failed inspection meant tearing out finished ceiling. He learned to document everything. That habit became the Documented Photo Record, now standard on every job. Tomas still rides with crews two or three days a week, usually on duct repair calls where the camera has to tell the story before any cutting starts. He lives on the near Northwest Side with two rescue dogs who shed enough to keep his own dryer vent cleaning schedule honest. Customers sometimes get him on the phone when they call (726) 600-7155; he still answers when the service coordinator is tied up.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with CleanRun since 2017, making him the longest-tenured tech in the San Antonio shop. He holds NADCA certification for ventilation inspection and specializes in negative-pressure extraction systems, the method that pulls debris out of a duct run while containing it so nothing resetstles in your living room. Marcus grew up in Kirby, still lives there, and can usually guess a home’s duct layout by the year it was built and the builder tract. His human detail: he keeps a running bet with the other techs on who will find the strangest object in a vent each quarter. Current leader is a 1987 Fiesta medal, intact, in a Terrell Hills return.
Elena V., Senior Installer / Duct Repair Specialist
Elena joined in 2019 after eight years in new construction HVAC, where she learned metal fabrication and sealing techniques that most residential crews never touch. She handles the duct repair and sealing jobs, the ones where a disconnected flex duct has been blowing conditioned air into a Castle Hills crawl space for three summers. Elena is certified in Aeroseal application, the polymer sealant that closes leaks from the inside without tearing out walls. She drives a wrapped van with her name on the door and refuses to let anyone else organize her fittings bin. Off Saturdays, she runs a small welding side business making patio furniture. Her installs come with the tightest mastic seams in the crew; Tomas has the photo record to prove it.
David R., Service Coordinator
David answers the phones, schedules the routes, and makes sure every customer gets the written scope and price before the van leaves the shop. He’s been with CleanRun since 2021, hired after managing dispatch for a plumbing outfit where he learned that the person on the phone sets the tone for everything that follows. David grew up in Converse, knows the difference between a Leon Valley address that maps correctly and one that sends GPS to the wrong cul-de-sac, and keeps a handwritten cheat sheet for both. He speaks Spanish and English on calls without switching lines or putting anyone on hold. His detail: he tracks every “weird noise” description customers give him and has developed a private taxonomy, from “squirrel party” to “metal heartbeat,” that he shares with the techs so they show up with the right gear.
Jasmine K., Apprentice Technician
Jasmine started in 2024 after completing a two-year HVAC program at St. Philip’s College, where she worked on the same Abatement Technologies and Nikro equipment that CleanRun runs in the field. She’s in her certification year, riding with Marcus or Elena on every job type until she can demonstrate independent competency on full-system cleaning, register removal without damage, and photo documentation that meets Tomas’s standard. Jasmine grew up in the Medical Center area, lives in Schertz now, and has already developed a reputation for spotting pre-existing duct damage that other techs might miss, probably from her time doing apartment turnover inspections. She asks more questions than any apprentice Tomas has hired, which he considers a feature, not a bug.
